Site Description: The Cafe on the Route, once featured on The Food Network program Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, is located in what formerly was called the Crowell Bank building, which in 1876 was famous for being held up by Jesse James and Cole Younger. The space formerly occupied by the Decades of Wheels Car Museum is designed with a front entry memorabilia shop and admission counter. The museum itself spans across two and one-half buildings with overhead doors for access to the back alley. The space offers several hundred square feet of adaptable retail space that could be repurposed for a variety of uses. The Spin Out Arcade utilizes two buildings and is designed as a video game arcade, a Bumper Car Track and a car themed Gymboree. The design includes three gathering rooms for patrons to utilize as party rooms for birthday parties and other celebrations, four restrooms, and is connected by a door to Rita’s Roost.
